Three places to start
Business card
Find current contact details after an introduction.
Proposal cover
Open public supporting resources or a booking link.
Reception sign
Learn about services and contact the right team.
Pick a next step that fits the introduction
A business card often needs a contact destination, not a long sales page. Use a vCard Plus page when you want to present contact information you can maintain over time. Use a Business page to explain your services, opening hours and other public details.
If the next step is booking a conversation, link to the scheduling tool you already use. Name that action clearly and check whether the booking page works well on a phone.
Distinguish a saved contact from a live page
A dynamic contact page can show new information the next time someone opens it. A contact previously saved to their phone is a separate copy and will not automatically update when you edit the page.
A static vCard embeds the contact information itself. That can suit details expected to remain stable, but changing the embedded information means generating and distributing a new QR image.
Keep the public page professional and current
Publish the channels you are comfortable sharing publicly. A QR printed on a business card is easy to photograph and forward. Keep confidential proposals and client documents in systems with appropriate access controls.
Review team member pages when roles or phone numbers change. Scan one of the actual cards before ordering a new batch, and include readable contact details for people who prefer to type or call.
Questions worth settling first
Will editing my page update contacts already saved on phones?
No. The live page can change, but an already saved contact is a separate copy. Someone needs to revisit and save the updated details.
Can I link to my current booking tool?
Yes. Link to the booking page you already use and test the full mobile journey, including any sign-in the booking service requires.
Put the guide into practice
Start with one useful destination.
Create and customise a static QR code, then sign up or log in to download it for free. Need to edit after printing? Explore dynamic codes with a seven-day Business trial, no card required. An active plan is needed to keep dynamic codes running after the trial and grace period.
