Wi-Fi QR codes

Reduce the steps involved in joining a guest wireless network. Wi-Fi QR codes hold the network name, security setting and password, so a compatible phone can read the connection details from a printed card.

Use cases for Wi-Fi QR codes

01

Guest rooms

Place connection instructions where guests can find them without asking for the password.

02

Cafés and waiting areas

Help visitors join a guest network with a quick scan.

What happens after a scan

A supported scanner offers to connect to the encoded network. The visitor must be within its coverage area, and device support varies. The QR does not create a network or provide internet access on its own; it shares the credentials you entered.

How to create your Wi-Fi QR code

  1. Step 1

    Create your account

Sign up and verify your email, or log in. Your selected QR format will be ready in the builder.

  2. Step 2

    Add your content

Enter the guest network name, security type and password exactly as configured on your router.

  3. Step 3

    Design, test and share

Choose your colours and layout, then complete your QR. Scan a test print on a phone before distributing it.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need an account to create this QR code?

Yes. Create an account and verify your email, or log in to an existing account, before opening this format in the full builder. You can explore the examples on this page without signing up.

Can I change the content after printing?

This is a static format: the content is encoded directly in the QR. To change it, generate and print a new code. Static codes do not provide scan analytics.

What should I check before sharing my Wi-Fi QR code?

Use a guest network. The Wi-Fi credentials are embedded in the code, so print a new code whenever those credentials change.
